Budding entrepreneurs and people growing their businesses in disadvantaged areas have today received a massive boost after the launch of a new £5 million fund for the further development of business incubation.
The new Business Incubation Development (BID) Fund, follows the Chancellor Gordon Brown’s announcement in the Budget 2005 of additional funding to provide long term support for business incubation in less advantaged areas and communities. The DTI’s Small Business Service has appointed the national body, UK Business Incubation, to administer the fund, supported by the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies (NFEA). meer>>
